Hello, I’m Theresa de Kock, founder of Belly2Brilliance Parenting and author of Holistic Parenting.

I live on the southwest coast of the Western Cape, South Africa, in a small coastal village where nature, rhythm, and community deeply influence the way I view family life and child development. This calm coastal environment mirrors the values I encourage in parenting: presence, balance, and connection.

I am a qualified teacher with a remedial educational background and have many years of experience teaching across different areas of education, with a strong specialisation in early childhood development. My professional journey has allowed me to work closely with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, supporting learning, emotional growth, and developmental needs in a holistic way.

In addition to classroom-based teaching, I am currently also an online educator, which enables me to reach and support parents and learners beyond geographical boundaries.

Holistic Parenting was born from my deep belief that parenting is about more than raising children—it’s about nurturing the whole family with compassion, understanding, and informed guidance from the very beginning. Through Belly2Brilliance Parenting, my aim is to support parents with gentle, practical insight, helping them create secure, loving environments where both children and parents can truly thrive.
